I've been following your podcast for years and glad to see you here on Substack.

You are so correct about restaurant dining being awful for health. There's too much salt and fat with portions that are just too large and wasteful.

Since the pandemic, my wife and I have cut our dining out to 1-2 times a month from 2x per week. Plus, I've upped my cooking skills and switched us over to being mainly a vegetarian and occasional fish diet. I no longer have high blood pressure, my psoriasis has almost disappeared, and we both feel better and have lost weight. At 62, I kind of wish I made these changes much earlier in life, but hey, better late than never. Your podcast has helped a lot in this course correction and thanks for that.

Also when we do dine out now, we find that most places don't even come close to the quality of taste and health that my own cooking has excelled to. Plus there's also the benefit of how much money we save from not dinging out!
